What is Maps Offline?
Maps Offline helps iPod Touch users and iPhone users without data plan to use Maps Application, provided by Apple, offline.
With Maps Offline you can manage and browse your saved maps, saving routes for later use or search streets. And all this while you‘re offline.

How does Maps Offline Work?
Maps Offline basicly uses the Cache file of Maps Application. By browsing the map in your desired area, the cache file gets filled with the tiles of your area. Alternatively, you can use MapThis by an unknown author to download the tiles automaticly to your PC and then transfer them to your iPod. Please watch the tutorial video for further instructions.
