I am currently highly interested in Rich Web Application Development with open standards and frameworks like HTML5 and Rails/jQuery/Backbone and have an ongoing interest in native mobile applications. I highly believe in the importance of well crafted user experiences and I like to do Rapid Prototyping and create new stuff. My most recent one is a Facebook photo browser.
I had many years of Computer Science Instruction in High School, participated in many projects including the summer camp at the School of Design at HPI, the sister school of Stanford University. I have always been working on my own projects in unknown territory to broaden my horizon (see above). At BU, I am pursuing the BA/MA program in Computer Science.

Photography
Photography has been one of my longest and dearest hobbies. It began simple Family Photography over to HDR Photography and evolving to Event/Nightlife Photography and Fashion/Portrait. Multiple of my photographs have been shown in the underground of Berlin.
Videography
With the purchase of my first Canon DSLR, I became interested in the video capabilities of the camera. Soon, my friends and I started making short movies, eventually reaching a second place in a YouTube Contest by the German Parliament.
